    Mission Statement: We are dedicated to a single purpose: empowering veterans to lead high-quality lives with respect and dignity. We accomplish this by ensuring that veterans and their families can access the full range of benefits available to them; fighting for the interests of America’s injured heroes on Capitol Hill; and educating the public about the great sacrifices and needs of veterans transitioning back to civilian life.

    Eligibility: Any man or woman: who served in the armed forces during a period of war or under conditions simulating war, and was wounded, disabled to any degree, or left with long-term illness as a result of military service, and was discharged or retired from military service under honorable conditions.

    Meeting times at the OVC: 3rd Saturday of the month from 10:00 - noon.

  • Fleet Reserve Association Branch 50

    Mission statement: To speak as ‘one voice’ for the protection of pay, benefits and allowances, for our Active Duty, Reserve, Retirees and Veteran enlisted sea serve personnel of the U.S. Navy, U.S Marine Corps and Coast Guard

    Eligibility: Any current or former enlisted member of the U.S. Navy, U.S. Marine Corps, and U.S. Coast Guard are eligible to join the FRA.

  • Hawai'i Civil Air Patrol

    Mission Statement: Three primary missions: providing emergency services; offering cadet programs for youth; and providing aerospace education for both CAP members and the general public.

  • Hiki No Artillery Association

    Mission statement: The 29th Infantry Brigade Combat Team (IBCT) is the largest unit in the Hawaii Army National Guard (HIARNG). Since 1995, the brigade has been one of the nation's 15 elite enhanced readiness brigades. This distinction means that the 29th must be trained and equipped to deploy within 90 days of a federal call-up. Their motto is “Hiki No” or “Can Do!” Hence, the Hiki No Artillery Association is their Veteran Service Organization.

  • Honolulu Council of the Navy League

    Mission statement: The Navy League of the United States has three missions: to enhance the morale of active-duty personnel and their families; inform Congress and the American public on the importance of strong sea services; and support youth through programs such as the Naval Sea Cadet Corps, Junior ROTC and Young Marines that expose young people to the values of our sea services. The Navy League Honolulu Council is dedicated to supporting these missions through our membership, programs, events, volunteers, professional staff, and endowment fund.

  • Marine Corps League Aloha Detachment #363

    Mission statement: Members of the Marine Corps League join together in camaraderie and fellowship for the purpose of preserving the traditions and promoting the interests of the United States Marine Corps, banding together those who are now serving in the United States Marine Corps and those who have been honorably discharged from that service that they may effectively promote the ideals of American freedom and democracy, voluntarily aiding and rendering assistance to all Marines, FMF Corpsmen and former Marines and FMF Corpsmen and to their widows and orphans; and to perpetuate the history of the United States Marine Corps and by fitting acts to observe the anniversaries of historical occasions of particular interest to Marines.

    Eligibility: Membership is open to anyone who is currently serving or has served honorably in the US Marine Corps for no less than 90 days, and also to US Navy Corpsman who serve or have served with Marine FMF units. Associate membership is also open to anyone who supports our mission and principles. Dues are $30 annually and include a free subscription to “Semper Fi” the magazine of the Marine Corps League.

  • Military Officers Association of America

    Mission statement: The first leaders of the association hoped that by joining together they could provide assistance and advice to other military officers. This concern for others fostered natural fraternal relations among members from all branches of the uniformed services. MOAA's purpose has grown to include career transition assistance, improved member products, military benefits counseling, educational assistance to children of military families (to include enlisted), and strong involvement in military professionalism activities.

    Eligibility: Membership is open to active duty, National Guard, Reserve, retired, and former commissioned officers and warrant officers of the following uniformed services: Army, Marine Corps, Navy, Air Force, Space Force, Coast Guard, Public Health Service, and National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration.

    Memberships also are available for surviving spouses of deceased officers.

  • Military Order of Foreign Wars

    Mission statement: Honor and perpetuate the names of brave and loyal men and women. Keep in mind the memory of their martial deeds and the victories which they helped gain. Strengthen the ties of fellowship among the Companions of the Order. Foster the cultivation of military and naval science.

    Eligibility: MOFW is one of the oldest veterans' and hereditary associations in the nation with a membership that includes officers and their hereditary descendants from all of the Armed Services.[1] Membership is composed of active duty, reserve and retired officers of the United States Armed Services, including the Coast Guard, National Guard, and allied officers, and their descendants, who have served during one of the wars in which the United States has or is engaged with a foreign power

  • Military Order of the Purple Heart

    Mission Statement: To foster an environment of goodwill and camaraderie among combat wounded veterans, promote patriotism, support necessary legislative initiatives, and most importantly, provide service to all veterans and their families.

    Eligibility: All persons of good moral character who are awarded the Purple Heart Medal by the Government of the United States AND are Active Duty or have Honorable or General discharge are eligible for active membership in the Military Order of the Purple Heart of the U.S.A. Please note that the MOPH does not have posthumous memberships. Only living Purple Heart Recipients are eligible for membership.

  • Military Order of World Wars - Gaylord Dillingham Memorial Chapter

    Mission statement: MOWW is a patriotic Veterans Service Organization (VSO) founded in 1919 by officers who served under General of the Armies John J. “Blackjack” Pershing. The purpose of the Order is to promote patriotism, civic responsibility, public service and leadership in the nation’s communities.

    Eligibility: MOWW is a patriotic, non-partisan organization of federally-commissioned, warrant or flight officers, be they officers who are retired, former, on active duty or members of the Reserves or the National Guard—to include active duty for training—in the seven Uniformed Services of the United States of America.

    Family members who are directly related to eligible officers within two degrees of consanguinity (i.e., spouse, son/step-son, daughter/step-daughter, grandson/granddaughter) are also eligible as Hereditary Members.

  • National Sojourners Chapter 9

    Mission statement: To organize current and former members of the uniformed forces of the United States and Honorary Members, who are Master Masons, into Chapters, for the promotion of good fellowship among its members, for assisting such as may be overtaken by adversity or affliction, for cultivating Masonic ideals, for supporting all patriotic aims and activities in Masonry, for developing true patriotism and Americanism throughout the nation, for bringing together representatives of the uniformed services of the United States (past and present)

    Eligibility: limited to United States citizens, who are Master Masons and are currently serving or have served honorably in the regular or Reserve components of the United States in the Army, Marine Corps, Navy, Air Force, Space Force, Coast Guard, Public Health Service Commissioned Corps, or National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration Commissioned Officer Corps, or predecessor services.

    Mission statement: Through our Get Off The Couch™ programming, Sheep Dog Impact Assistance (SDIA) is the national nonprofit providing charitable services benefitting the overall well-being of our nation's Veterans and First Responders through Outdoor Adventures (physical activity), Warrior PATHH training (mental wellness) and Continued Service/Disaster Response (volunteerism) programs.

  • Special Forces Association Hawaii Chapter VIII MSG Earl Kalani Memorial

    Mission statement: The Special Forces Association serves as the voice for the Special Forces community; Perpetuates Special Forces traditions and brotherhood; Advances the public image of Special Forces and promotes the general welfare of the Special Forces community.

    Mission statement: To provide a club for current and former members of the Special Forces Regiment who love to ride motorcycles and enjoy the company of other who ride; provide an organization for like-minded warrior patriots to express their views and opinions, recognize those who have served and those who continue to serve, preserve the esprit de corps of the Special Forces Regiment, honor our fallen comrades while assisting their families, and preserve the history of our Brotherhood.

    Eligibility: If you have served at least one day of active military duty since December 7, 1941 and were honorable discharged or you are still serving active military duty honorably.

  • Woman Marines Association HI-2 Wahine Koa Chapter

    Mission statement: Our mission is to continue with what we all started when we stepped on those famous yellow footprints. We assist WMA in carrying out the national mission on a more local level.

    Eligibility: Memberships are for two years and dues are $25. To become a chapter member you must first become a member of the Women Marines Association National (membership is also two years/$40). Prospective members must be female Marines who are serving or who have served honorably. Female Navy FMF corpsmen or religious specialists who are serving or have served honorably are also eligible for membership.
